Coronado is a beautiful place and a large part of that beauty lies in the wide variety of plants, trees and flowers that thrive here.
The citizens, the storefront owners, even the City itself all contribute to the beautification of Coronado. The tending of all of this foliage is done with a sense of pride and of thankfulness for being able to live in a little slice of paradise.
Every April, Coronado celebrates and applauds all of these efforts with the Home Front Judging and the Coronado Flower Show. The gardens, storefronts and medians along Orange Avenue fill with brilliant color for these annual events.
Here are some photos I captured of flowers, bushes and trees while cruising through the village ~

You too can have some of this beauty in your yard, garden or even in a clay pot. Visit The Coronado Cookie’s Flower Seed Store to see some of the wide variety of flower seeds available.
